I have a user experiencing a host of problems with excel. The main issue is this: Upon opening an excel document by double-clicking on it, two windows open. One is the document the other is a blank window with most options greyed out.
I have checked and unchecked DDE. I have enabled and disabled Lookup Wizard Add-in. I have custom modified the file associations using /e and %1 switches. The last one actually seemed to fix it once... but then excel documents would not open through our web portal. Help meh! Thanks.
