Disabling WPF label mnemonics

With the Label control in WPF, the UseMnemonic property is not available. I know that it's possible to avoid mnemonics by doubling the character (&& or __ instead of & or _), but I honestly have no use for the functionality in my labels in this project. Is there some way I can globally disable mnemonics on the labels (or even all of the controls) in my project?

Use a <TextBlock/> in place of the <Lable/>
- It's a more lightweight object because it doesn't so things like mnemonics :)

This really wasn't what I was looking for but I guess this is the easiest way to accomplish what I'm looking to do. The labels just really worked well for my project because of the ability to align the content of them. Thanks!
