Xenserver on VMWare Workstation 7

Hi,

Do you know an article which describes the (working) installation of Xenserver on VMWare Workstation 7?

I installed it, but cannot run a machine in Xenserver (virtual machine).

Thanks,
J.

No, and yes that's to be expected.
do you get a HVM error message?

XenServer requires hardware virtualization to run Windows VMs; but not Linux VMs.

ASKER

I got Esx 4 directly on a server (hp microserver).
I could import the xenserver, would that make a chance to work (and why?)?
ESX 4 - no.

ESXi 5.0 supports nested Hypervisors. Intel-VT or AMD-V is available to/in the VM.

XenServer requires hardware virtualization to run Windows VMs; but not Linux VMs.
So I could run ESX 5 in VMWare Workstation and import it?
