Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010 Send As error

Currently users that are using Outlook 2010 are receiving an error when trying to send as another user.  Users that still have Outlook 2007 are not having this problem. We are using Exchange 2010 Sp1.

I have configured the permissions for multiple users and it is all the same. Please advise.

Outlook can have multiple Exchange accounts in the same profile (the first version that can), so add a new Exchange account to your main profile and the Send As issue will go away immediately.

Thank you for the quick response.

The users have Full Access permissions and the second profile has already been added and still getting the error
If added as a second Cached Exchange account in a single profile there won't be any permission issues.

I have 3 Exchange accounts in my Outlook 2010 profile and have not set any send as permissions on the server as you get full access by simply using the correct credentials.

Do you have to login to both accounts when opening up Outlook?
In exchange management console have you added the user using the Add Send Ass Permissions?
Alan:

The user doesnt enter any credentials when opening outlook as it uses his AD login. Maybe the Send As permissions are not working due to the full access permissions?

Neil:

In the EMC I have added both Full Access and Send as permissions.
Configure the profile to request credentials for both accounts, then open Outlook, enter the relevant credentials and test.
I just tested my own account using outlook 2010 and it is working just fine without configuring outlook to ask for credentials.

If the credentials can be avoided I need to set it up that way as the CEO will not want to enter credentials every time he opens outlook
Okay - so setup the CEO in the same way, assuming you haven't already.

If you have - blow the profile away and start again.
