XP Mode Security

I am unable to save a Lotus 1-2-3 (ver. 9.5) document from within XP Mode that I've modified from the original data file version.  When I try, I get an error message stating the file is corrupt.  However, I can "save as" to a different file name.  When I check properties on any file or folder from within XP Mode, there is no Security tab present.  However, there is a Security tab in the native OS (64-bit Windows 7 Pro).  This is a new PC with a new install of XP Mode.
Please help!

To get the security tab, do the following:

1. Open My Computer
2. Click on Tools->Folder Options
3. Scroll the to bottom of the list, and uncheck "Use Simple File Sharing"
4. Click on OK

Regarding not being able to save your document, you checking the security settings for that folder is one way, but is that file read-only?  Right-click on it, select Properties, and look at the bottom of the dialog to see what's checked.

I've checked for "read only" and the checkbox was clear for the files we couldn't save.  But, I will check on the Simple File Sharing attribute tomorrow when I contact the PC owner.  That does, however, sound like the solution.  Thank you so very much.  And, I will post the outcome here when I have more info.
