Can you create an OST file to be used with an IMAP Account
Hello,
I am using Outlook 2010 and would like to know whether I can create an OST file for use with the account so I can write and view emails which not online - is this possible?

Hi AmitKhilnaney,
Thansk for the post. I have found the settings and it appears to be set up as outlined in the artice (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/microsoft-office/force-outlook-2007-to-download-complete-imap-items/)..
The problem I am facing is when I am not connected to the network Outlook 2010 wil often freeze and stop responding and generate a number of error message while you are not connected to the network; is there anyway to avoid this?

Hi,
Choose "work offline" and then try going through messages.. If that doesnt help. Please post a screenshot/detail of the error message you are getting.
