Uninstall VMware Player completely, restart, make sure your physical network is working and the re-install VMware Player. Look in the guest settings to make sure you are set for Bridged (not NAT) and try again. <br />

For some reason, VMWare's Bridge interface stopped working. I've used it for months, and randomly it stopped for all of my VMs (3 different OS's)<br />
