Cannot download attachments in Outlook "Download didn't complete. Try again"
I have a new HTC Titan X310e running the latest Windows Phone 7.5.
I have Outlook email configured to talk to Microsoft Exchange 2007 on Small Business Server 2008. The SBS server is completely up-to-date with all service packs and fixes.
When emails are sent to me with attachements e.g. a .JPG I click on the email to try to open the attachment or view the picture.
However it comes up with an error message "Download didn't complete. Try again"
Can anyone help here ?

How did you get the Mango update? Did you get it from your service provider or use the hack/workaround? This seems to be a common problem with folks that did not wait for the update from their service provider.

New HTC phone comes standard with 7.5
It existed with 7.0 peeps also. There are server side settings about attachments that need to be addressed.

What specific settings do you think need to be set on SBS2008 / Exchange 2007 ?
Read the link I sent above, about midway through the post.

Yes - I've already done that. I'm specifically asking you what settings you think should be set that are not set by default on SBS2008 / Exchange 2007.
The issue does not seem to be related to any configuration on the SBS, rather it is a phone software issue. 2 of the 3 folk that I know that had the issue, resolved it by reapplying the Mango update. If pre-installed I'm not sure how to do so, but regardless I would connect to your computer with Zune and click the check for updates option.
try recreating the account.

Robwill - that is why I asked Mikal613 the question - because all the correct settings seem to be set correctly on Exchange 2007 / SBS2008. And as per that other link like many of the other people who posted I too do not want to have to wipe the phone. And I repeat - this was NOT a Mango update - the phone came with 7.5. According to Zune all updates ahve been applied.
Mikal613 - You didn't answer my question. See above.

1) Allow attachment download (client side)
2) Maximum attachment size

The settings on Exchange 2007 (without me changing anything) are :
1. Enabled
2. not set
so it would appear to have been set correctly by default and not require any change. Correct ?

maybe a size of 20MB in case theres a bug that it might be 0 ???
Otherwise, I got nothing further :(

The image attachments in the test emails I sent / received were between 500k and 3Mb - so even encoded size should not be an issue.
