How can I convert Google search results into an Excel spreadsheet?
What would you suggest as the easiest method to convert thousands of Google results into an Excel spreadsheet? Ideally, I would want to have the following data in separate columns:
URL, URL description, some indicator of traffic volume (or how popular) each particular URL is. Then obtaining the URL's support page (or whatever the page is which has a forum to contact someone) would be the frosting on the cake. Is something like that possible?

I will definitely have to spend some time with this because it looks like it has the potential of being exactly what I want. The ridiculously embarrassing part of it is for the life of me I cannot convert a CSV file into an Excel document for formatting. I've spent over one and a half hours everything from working on command lines which I've never done before, to searching on forums etc.
I don't know what happened because I used to be able to do this.
As an aside, are you very familiar with SEO quake? Great suggestion.

you can convert the CSV into excel by either using the "save as " option or importing the data from csv into excel. Then you could format.

The save as option worked, however it through too many fields and to columns. Isn't there a way to convert it so that the resulting Excel document has all of the information in the right sales and and the right columns?
Re: SEO quake, have you used that before? I can see in our examples that the kind of information I want is up achievable, but I can't figure out how to properly set everything up to get it. Are there people who work on these type of projects that I could subcontract to?

information should be in the correct olumns. I believe, what you need now is rearranging the columns.
