Crystal 8.5 problem lining up fields on reports
Hi
I am having a problem lining up some fields in a page footer in some Crystal Reports in v8.5. Basically there are few different reports that are run and then sent to a pdf file. The Logo in the footer looks like it is 'jumping' around when you look at the pdf of all the reports together. I have gone into each report and set the 'object size and position' of the logo and fields either side, but on some of them I set the exact measurements but then when I go back and check them it hasnt taken the settings - or they have changed but not to what I set them too. On my Report Options I have removed th Snap to Grid tick and have a tick on the free form placement. Does anyone know why these settings keep changing on the object size and position fields? And if there is a way around this? Does the Grid Size in the Report Options have any bearing on these settings?
Many thanks for any help and it will be very much appreciated!!!

The only thing I have been able to do is select all the fields in a row or column then right click and choose ALIGN choose the appropriate alignment

Try holding the shift key when you position the objects with the mouse.
Try changing the grid size to 0.1 cm
