We having a bookings system in place that stores the StartDate and EndDate for each booking.  Some bookings run for 1 day (So the StartDate and EndDate are the same), some for a few days and anywhere up to a few months.  I would like to run a query where it calculates the number of days each booking runs for within a given period. For example if there is a booking on ther system where the StartDate is '31/10/2011' and EndDate '01/11/2011' then i run the query from '01/11/2011' to '30/11/2011' the particular booking in question will show as 1 day.
