Adding new email domain to Exchange 2010 #2

Hi - last week I posted a question asking how to add a new email domain to Exchange 2010. I have successfully used the Exchange Management Console to go into HUB TRANSPORT > ACCEPTED DOMAINS and added the new domain. However, when I go to HUB TRANSPORT > EMAIL ADDRESS POLICIES and edit the DEFAULT POLICY and add my new domain there, when I come to apply the updated policy it fails with a message saying that THE OPERATION CANNOT BE PERFORMED TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS POLICY. Any ideas of how to get around this?? Thanks Ed.

Both answers would have done the trick - I went with the second one as it meant I didn't have to edit the default policy - which could have spelt disaster if I'd got it wrong. Thanks guys for your help.
