E2K7 enterprise limiting me for 5 storage groups.

Hi,
Few days back i have installed my new Exchange 2007 enterprise environment in CCR. today i m trying to create storage groups but surprised to see that its not allowing me to create more than 5 storage groups additionally its restricting me to create only 1 mail store/storage groups.

At the time of planning i came to know that anyone can create 50 storage groups in enterprise edition and more than 1 mail store/storage group however recommendation is for 1.

Please let me know why its restricting me.

Have to activated the license? You might be limited due to not activating.

I did that just after installation. In exchange management console where i can ensure this ?
What about patching?  Have you patched your exchange with sp1 and any further updates?
The package i installed was with SP1, no further updates installed.
Have you followed the correct method to do it: http://kb.parallels.com/1178
Yes. actually i already created three storage groups with mailboxes and everything is working fine but i was planning to have 7 storage groups with 1 database in each.

Since you are running CCR then you already have enterprise edition running

the 1 mailbox store/storage group is per design, you cannot have more on a CCR , but you should be able to have up to 50 storage groups.

what is the error in the event log when you try to create a new storage group?
This is what i m getting in EMC
