I have installed http::recorder and I'm trying to record steps to use with www::mechanize.

I have launched the proxy using the script in the cpan pages but I'm not sure what to actually do to get the browser to point to the proxy as I can't find details on what the proxy is set to through this process. Can anyone help with this or suggest an alternate route if there is a better one.

#!/usr/bin/perl
    use HTTP::Proxy;
    use HTTP::Recorder;
    my $proxy = HTTP::Proxy->new();
    # create a new HTTP::Recorder object
    my $agent = new HTTP::Recorder;
    # set the log file (optional)
    $agent->file("/tmp/myfile");
    # set HTTP::Recorder as the agent for the proxy
    $proxy->agent( $agent );
    # start the proxy
    $proxy->start();
    1;
