Question about Windows 7 Updates in WSUS

My question is about approving updates for 32 and 64 bit Windows 7.  I see some updates that specify x86 or x64, and others that just say Windows 7.  How do you handle approving them.  Do the the updates that do not specify x86 or x64 get approved for both, or do you take it on a case by case basis?

If I approve x86 updates for a x64 system, or vice versa, would that cause problems?  Would the x86 systems just ignore the 64 bit updates?

Ah, that's good to know.  I was just unsure if approving 64 bit updates for a 32 bit system could cause problems, thanks.  That will actually make things a bit easier.
Yeah, as long as you understand that WSUS is a PULL technology. WSUS does not push updates, clients request only updates that have been approved and that apply.

Right, I know you have to apply them.
