PowerEdge 2650 & 1850 - MS SBS2008 & Standard 64 Bit OS

Hi: EE,

Can you please provide your "Experts" suggestion, experience and recommendation on Dell PowerEdge Servers, PowerEdge 2650 & 1850,

1850 - MS SBS2008 (64 Bit) with Exchange Email and,
2650 - MS Standard 2008 (64 Bit) with existing "Standard" 2005 SQL Database licensed DVD (32 Bit) that purchased back in 2008 for unlimited database size uses.

There was 35-45 users originally and down to less than 10 users now (Email and Database)

Power Edge 2650 also responsible for folders, network drives, and print-server shares,

The Plan,
Upgrades with Max RAM sizes on these boxes,
We have "identified" the exact same model of hardware parts/components and Software OS with additional User's license ready to purchase them as soon as we are comfortable to proceed

Thank you in Advance!

Now i realized my ESL Suck!

Can these two boxes, Install, Configure and Runs:
1850 - MS SBS2008 (64 Bit) with Exchange Email and,
2650 - MS Standard 2008 (64 Bit) with existing "Standard" 2005 SQL Database licensed DVD (32 Bit) that purchased back in 2008 for unlimited database size uses.

Sorry about that!
thanks for prompt response,

Howien
An 1850 can run 64 bit OS's.... SBS 2008 with sufficient RAM, 8Gb is recommended.

A 2650 is questionable. I do not think it can support a 64bit OS.  The 2850 is its cousin that perhaps can. A 2950 definitely can.

You can run 32 bit 2008 on the 2650 with your 32 bit SQL....but 4Gb is the memory limit.

Hope this helps.

That's Great!!
1850, I got the RAM Spec/Info and am ready to fill it up with 12gb, or 16gb if supported?

2650, Can I ask why (not) 64 Bit 2008 Standard and what about SBS2003 64 Bit, Can it still work for SQL-2005 (32 Bit) Standard Edition and,

How come only 4GB Memory when there's more RAM Sockets (6) on it, Doesn't the 1Gb Memory . RAM not supported?

Do you have an link info for this experienced from previously tested and proven to work that I can study and take notes?

too many questions, I apologize and I do appreciated all your input and Thank You Sir!
