Can't install Sles 9 on Virtual Box
I'm using Oracle VirtualBox and when installing SLES 9 inside a VDI file it seems all fine until I reach the Yast2 section. During that time it scans the system and doesn't find a Hard Drive. It gives a message "No Hard Disk Found for the installation". Am I missing a setting somewhere?
I try a manual installation and same type of issue, no HDD detected.
Thanks for any help!

Yes other OS's work ok. I'm not sure what I'd be missing in Hard Drive settings in Virtual Box. It definiteley seems like a HDD setting but I think I've chacked everywhere I know, do ypu know of any other settings in Virtual Box regarding the HD?
Are you installing x64 version? See: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24395

I'm installing the 32bit Suse 9 on a 64bit computer. It gives me a message telling me that but allows me to continue.
Then I don't know....
Anyone else got a clue what this error could be?

I'm actually getting the same message on a dell desktop. (Optiplex GX520) I'm guessing now it's not a Virtual Box issue.
"No Automatic Proposal possible. Specify mount points manually in the Partitioner dialog." "No Hard Disk Found for the installation".
Is there anywhere in Yast where I can manually mount the HDD? Could this be that the installation doesn't have the correct SATA Drivers?
Any thoughts?

Are you sure you have setup the hard drive correctly in VirtualBox for the virtual machine?
