Removed domain controller, need help cleaning DNS

Hi

I am in the process of completely removing a 2003 DC from my domain. It was also a DNS server.

I removed the DNS role OK.

I tried to remove AD using dcpromo, however I came across an error that couldn't be solved and ended up using the forceremoval switch.

I removed the metadata using the GUI, which went through fine.

I need some advice on cleaning up DNS. I have two 2008 DCs now, and want to completely remove any records pointing to the old 2003 DC.

I have two subzones under my domain's forward lookup zone, called _msdcs and data. They both contain a single NS record with the value of the old DC. What do I need to do with these records/subzones? Should they contain NS records of my 2008 DNS servers?
