Exchange and Outlook error 0x8004010f an object could not be found

I cannot clear up this error in Outlook: 0x8004010f The operation failed an object could not be found

I have downloaded the MS online connector for Outlook

I have uninstalled Office reinstalled office
deleted the mail profile and recreated it
renamed: normal.dot, outcmd.dat, and extend.dat. Then repair install.
cleaned out all tmp files
started outlook in safemode

Server is 2003 standand member with exchange 2003
XP SP3 with Office 2003 SP3

This computer is one of 4 computers that are on the other end of a site to site VPN. The other users are fine and do not see this error.

I do not know what to do.....I am lost

Please confirm, if you have downloaded the offline address book and GAL manually.

No, I do not have that option in the tools, send and receive.
I have just noticed that after I clicked rebuild there was an error in the event log on the exchange server. And maybe that is why I am having this issue.
