I believe they are still the same size. My wife has a Weetabix tin that her parents had somewhere in the 1950's I think. It still fits two packets of Weetabix inside without them rattling too much.<br />

You need room to get your fingers in, but its not excessive.

The shredded wheat adverts used to suggest that you had to be something special to eat 3, as if two was sufficient for ordinary folk. <br />
I don't ever remember a suggested serving for weetabix, but I always ate them in pairs because it was tidier.<br />
