Goldmine constantly crashing

Hi, We have a vista computer with Goldmine V6 installed, lately we have been having alot of issues with being able to work with it due to constant crashing.

It seems to be whenever we create/save a note it decides to crash on us.

We have turned off all AV settings and UAC is disabled, no firewall, Vista is SP2.
We have also checked network connection and there is no drop outs.

Any help on this matter would be great.

Thanks.

SQL back-end? or dbase? If dbase, check the size of your contact1.dbt file. 2GB is the max.

btw, as you may know, v6 is obsolete, and not supported on Vista, 7, etc.

Goldmine is dbase, contact1.dbt file is only 687KB

Other users in the office have goldmine running with no issues on their windows 7 computers, same version

It has been working fine for a long time though with no problems.

Yes, one database is shared via network/server

after trouble shooting with windows accounts and goldmine accounts. we have decided to swap the machine out completely.
The issue now seems to be resolved, it seems the issue was with vista or something that was on that machine.
Weridly enough that machine had been used by another member of staff who never complained about crashes or anything goldmine related.

Thanks for your help everyone.
