Using IIS 7 for an intranet site.  We have chosen Windows authentication but it is displaying a login screen before you can see the home page

Steps:
User is logged into the domain, and accesses an internal URL http://192.168.xxx.xxx/abc/
Before the page loads, it is requiring a login page
User enters the same domain login credentials as what he is logged into on the domain
Page loads fine

What we want is to have the server use the logged in credentials and eliminate the login screen.

What should we do to make that happen.

Is the site detected as being part of the "local intranet" (as shown in IE)?  If not, add the site to that zone, then reload.

Thanks very much, that did it!
