Excel bar graph, I want to put in icon image in place of the bar, like boxes or stars. Can this be done?

Excel bar graph, I want to put in icon image in place of the bar, like boxes or stars. Can this be done? I have little images that I want to put inplace of the blue bar on the graph. some one told me this can be done. So instead of having a blue bar go to lets say 10, I'll have ten little stars stacked... Please help..

The screenshot of the chart highlights one of the major problems that arise from picture fills: it's hard to scale them to properly represent the values. In this case, the data values are 1, 2 and 3, but the picture fill show more than one image repeat for a value of 1.

Therefore, although it can be done, it is not a good way of presenting charts. Before you embark on the technique, I recommend you read Jon Peltier's blog post Bad Bar Chart Practices, or Send in the Clowns
