I'd bet stupid people cost us even more and they won't pick vegetables for us to eat or do the yard work that many illegals are doing now.  Sound bite "solutions" to any of these problems don't work.

Why should they when they can sit on unemployment for 99 weeks plus?

I think you have bigger problems to think about than throwing out a bunch of people who are mostly working doing jobs you and I won't do.  Getting rid of them would increase that cost of many things.

Farm laborers have picked up their checks and headed out of town. Parents have pulled their children out of school ..

I suppose you read the part where it said FARM WORKERS VANISH and they are short on people to pick the crops at harvest time...  Of course, you don't eat or pick veggies so what do you care.
