How do I remove the comma that gets automatically inserted in my Brother QL-570 printer label!
Hello,
I have a Brother QL-570 printer.
When I try to print a label, it automatically inserts a comma after my text.
This is driving me nuts.
Why would Brother do such a stupid thing?
Thanks for letting me vent.

Hello Nobus,
I manually deleted all files on the Windows File System related to this Brother printer.
THen I uninstalled and rebooted.
I also downloaded the latest app. from the Brother website.
And i still get this persistent comma that shows up in all my labels.
I wonder if it has to do with the size of the label I am using.
The actual size of the label is restricting me to different label types, such as shipping etc. which I understand.
But why would an application force me to use a comma. I hate "intelligent" software, autocorrect, etc. and things like that....it only causes more problems.
Thank you.

oh, where is the label file that you want.
And I think I failed to mention on the previous post that I actually did reinstall the software with the latest version.
Thanks

It is not the printer or driver that inserts a comma - it's done by the application.
You may want to use a different application (e.g. Word), or you can see if there is a setting in "P-Touch Address Book" that removes the comma.

why in the world would Brother be so stupid?
Did they ask Microsoft how to develop their software? It seems so.
If it is the application, then how do you take the comma out?
I tried to figure it out by looking at options, templates, etc.etc.
Thanks

it is stupid, because I hate when applications try to tell me what to do.
If i could easily delete the comma, it would be fine, but this is stupid

Try to install it on a different PC and see how it behaves.
>> If i could easily delete the comma, it would be fine << did you check all the program settings ? maybe the Brother support can show you how ...
you can also uninstall and reinstall the printer software and driver, or update it !
