Roaming Profiles Quit working on Windows XP machines

We are in the process of migrating from SBS2003 to Server 2008 R2 Standard.  All of the sudden the roaming profiles have stopped working on our Windows XP machines.  I have been working with Microsoft on this issue and they are at a loss as well.  I have applied hotfix KB958058 and still continue to have issues.  I have created test users and at first logon the profile is created on the network share and all appears to be well.  Upon reboot of the local machine the profile goes right back to "local profile".  I have found that the registry key "hklm\software\microsoft\windows NT\current version\profilelist\userguid\centralprofile" starts with \\server\share but after reboot the key goes blank and the profile loads locally.  We have been through the userenv.log and nothing stands out.  All appears to load perfectly.  Any ideas of addtional things to try would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I found out that when I connect using my logmein.com account the roaming profile switches back to "local".  When I RDP or physically sit at the PC the profile goes back to "roaming".  Ive searched on the logmein site but only find one related post with no comments.  All is now well as long as I dont use logmein.
