If I disable offline files and folders will the files be deleted?

I am migrating AD profiles from one domain to another. I am comming across laptops with people syncing their laptops with offline folders from remote sites.

I am scared as hell of cutting their profile across and disabling offline folders. Can doing this potentially deleted the files and folders from the server when I re-enable offline folders after the profile migration? (Profile migration is being done via ADMT 3.2 computer migration).

Laptop is windows xp.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Just like a romaing profileIf you disable it, it will not Delete the Profile

If you want to make sure if doesnt, you can always reduce the permissions on the Netwrok Location to Read Only

So no, it wont delete them
