View Exchange tabs for active directory objects on Exchange 2007 Server
Hi
Have a newly installed Exchange 2007 server.
Have also got 2 Exchange 2003 servers (on which I can view Exchange tab i.e. Exchange General, Exchange Advanced, Email Addresses tabs).
Want to view Exchange properties for users in AD Users and Computers on new Exchange 2007 server but cant.
Can you please remind me what we need to do to view Exchange tabs.

In answer to your questions:
I'm assuming ghe Exhcnage server is part of the same domain and you are logged in with domain administrator credentials... right?
Yes
Can you map a drive from the exchange server to the other servers and view evrerything?
Yes
This is a Win2k8 SP2 server, however domain / forest functional level is Win2k3.
Do we need any admin tools to be installed on the server?

IN EXCHANGE 2007, you can't use active directory users and computers to manage exchange attributes, instead, you must use exchange management console or exchange management tools
also, you can install these management tools in any computer that's joined to the domain so that you can manage your exchange server from other consoles from other computer

Mailbox properties are available on Exchange management shell and management console.
You can see some properties from active directory, by enable advanced view on from view tab.

Thanks for your replies.
I understand that we use the EMC / EMS to manage Exchange 2007 mailboxes.
How are 'all' mailbox rights viewed as from Exchange Advanced Tab in ADUC?
I can view these from Windows 2003 Server for Exchange 2003 or 2007 users, but not from the Winndows 2008 Server hosting Exchange 2007 roles.

IF you enable advanced view, do you see security tab ? or it does not appear ?
you can manage these rights , by right click the user mailbox, and click manage full access

Thanks for your reply Suliman. advanced view is enabled in ADUC (on Exchange 2007 / Windows Server 2008) and security tab is accessible, but no 'Exchange' tabs.
As I say, full access riughts can be managed from EMC, but what about Exchange Advanced tab that gives access to ALL mailbox rights?
