Replace ; with , with Access Update Query

I'm trying to replace all ; (semi comma)  within  a field with , (comma) with a update query.  The problem is that it deletes the whole field.

I need to update the Description field in an Access Table.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I may suggest to just open the table, then Select the Description Column and do the Find and Replace feature built within Access. You can use Ctrl+H.

This will do:

  tblYourTable.Description = Replace([Description],";",",");
