PROBLEM OPENING SILVERLIGHT PROJECT

Hi All,

I've problem opening silverlight project.

Please see the error and I want to get rid off it without have to configure IIS.

What should I do ?

Installing inet Manager, what next ?

It's not an IIS running as separate server

i) if you click "Start" and navigate to "Run" type "Inetmgr" to open for IIS
if the above step is not workign then you will not be able to create an VD (Virtual Directory) and take look at the comparison

To over come the same
Open the ".csproj" file in the fodler that's teh project file in "NodePad"

Search for the below sting
<IISUrl>http://localhost/<<VD>></IISUrl>

change with below value to use some default port
<IISUrl>http://localhost/<<VD>>:1115</IISUrl>

It's mine fault as haven't give the correct path to look

Above changes are need to doen in the WebProject where your SL project been used, i.e open ".vbproj" of teh Web application int he solutiona nd do teh necessary change

File you have shared is from the SL project, change it in webapplication ".vbproj" file

Your SilverLight project is one of the project in your solution with an Webapplication to host the silverLight project.

changes needs to be done in the Webapplication ".Vbproj" file not in the Silverlight ".vbproj".

Please provide as how many project in your solution wiht the type of project where silverlight project is one of them, will helpful to provide more clearly
