Hello all,

we have a Windows 2008R2 Standard Server with SCOM2012. For Monitoring we need the Exchange Managemnt Tools in order to full monitor the Exchange DAG. We deployed the wrong version and want to start from scratch.

The problem is if we want to uninstall the console we are getting an error. We tried it over the gui and the command: C:\Install\Exchange2010\setup.com /m:uninstall /roles:MT

The error we are getting is this :

Description:
  Stopped working

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:      APPCRASH
  Application Name:      ExSetupUI.exe
  Application Version:      14.1.218.13

  Exception Offset:      000000000000cacd
  OS Version:      6.1.7601.2.1.0.272.7
  Locale ID:      1033

And if I launch the installed Console i am getting :

From where you want to remove it, is it on Exchange server itself or you want to uninstall from some other machine?

Do you have enough resources on the server. Stop Antivirus and try again.

App Crash is not exchange issue, looks like this machine is having virus. Install AV scan the machine.
