How do you manage the Active diretory tools(active directory users and computers, DHCP,DNS,Domains and Trusts, sites and services) from windows 7 machine.

What should be done to manage the active directory 2008 tools from a windows 7 machine.

You can just install the management tools on the system you choose to update/change active directory.

Since these tools can only be used domain users who have the necessary permissions, the ket is to make sure that all your users have appropriate permissions. No-one should have any server, infrastructure to domain management permissions unless they really need it for their job function - even then its a case of give people what they need - and no more.
