Looks like that section of navigation gets it's color from an image:
http://www.mightyavonradio.com/football/images/blue.jpg

You'd have to modify the color of the image in a photo editing program in order to make that change.

On line 559 of style.css you'll have to remove the background-image declaration and then insert the hex color of your choice.

#featuresbox, #quotebox {
    background-color: #900;
    /*background-image: url("../images/blue.jpg");*/
    background-position: center bottom;
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    border-bottom: 2px solid #259AC4;
    height: 90px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    width: 960px;
}

The color of the section comes from

#featuresbox, #quotebox {
    background-color: #01BAFD;
    background-image: url("../images/blue.jpg");
    background-position: center bottom;
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    border-bottom-color: #259AC4;
    border-bottom-style: solid;
    border-bottom-width: 2px;
    height: 90px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    width: 960px;
}

in style.css (line 559)
it is specified in two elements:
    background-color: #01BAFD;
    background-image: url("../images/blue.jpg");
you need to change both. You have to analyze both so as to decide what to do.
you mean something like this ?
 Maroon Style
