I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In 4th page of the document, map the user to all system databases too. Or in page 10, while connecting to the server, connect to database called skfuser. This is happening as the domain group created is not a sysadmin on the server.

(1) Mapped the user to all system databases
(2) Added that group to  sysadmin under Security/Server Roles

Which is the same thing as you said in your first post.........

Or in page 10, while connecting to the server, connect to database called skfuser.

Don't know why it did not work the  first time around.........

Thanks for your help ............all is working now..................
