Deploy an image with Citrix Provisioning Server
I need to understand the steps to deploy an image using Citrix provisioning server.
Let s say I have windows 7 to use a Golden image.
I believe these are the steps to take on windows 7 workstations:
-Install PVS client software
-run citrix converter
These steps will create an image on PVS server, for instance VDI001
Then on PVS:
-create vDisk
-associate vDisk to the image VDI001.
Now when target device boots through PXE how does it know which image to grab and install it ?
thanks

what if you have many target devices that you want to boot. Are you going to add manually all their Mac addresses to the PVS??

I get the confusion between the target device that the Admin creates on the PVS and the vDisk.
I also can't clearly understand what the Target Device client software and the XenConvert do. because when you run the Target Device client software, then run the Xenconvert, there is nothing to notice on the PVS
