                  style: {
                        background: '#579aff',
                        color: '#fff',
                        fontWeight:'bold',
                        border: {
                              width: 1,
                              radius: 5,
                              color: '#579aff'
                        },
                        tip: 'bottomLeft'
                  },
                  show: 'mouseover',
                  hide: 'mouseout',
                  position: {
                        corner: {
                              target: 'topRight',
                              tooltip: 'bottomLeft'
                        }
                  }

The tip in QTIP comes from tooltip which are generally triggered on mouseover. If you need a form, use jquery UI dialog instead

Use jquery UI instead. QTIP is not optimal for your intended usage

I've updated for you to use the plugin and the recommended jQuery version.  You'll see why mplungjan has said not to use it and to go with the jQuery dialog...

Thanks tagit

Yeah I use qtip2 for tooltips and jQuery ui for dialogs

Qtip is too old if it uses jQuery 1.3
