GPO Screen Savetimeout
Hi
Some of the users take laptops for presentation and default timeout is 10 min, on many occasions the will be no activity during presentation and screen saver kicks in and locks computer during presentation
If i allow users to change timeout setting during the session, is it possible to reset timeout settings to default 10mins) when user logs off ?
or any other suggestions ?
Cheers
Thanks

Yep. Use group policy preferences to specify the registry value (in seconds) for the time out. Then set an item level target that say if the value is greater than 600 seconds, reset back to 600 seconds.

where do i set an item level target?
In group policy preferences, go to the common tab. You will see a check box for item level targetting.
