3-4 Monitor Set up with Windows 7 x64

Has anyone had success in running a triple monitor setup on a Windows 7 64bit machine with dual video cards (1 PCI and 1 PCI-e) ? We used to run the same set up on windows XP with older video cards and worked fine, but with Windows 7 we seem to get some lagging on the video output for the PCI video card. The full specs are listed below:

Genuine Windows® 7 Professional, 64-bit
Intel® Core™ i5 2400 Processor (3.1GHz, 6M
4GB DDR RAM
512MB AMD RADEON HD 6350 Video Card PCI-E
320GB 7,200 RPM 3.5" SATA, 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive with 16MB Cache
VisionTek 3450 512mb PCI Dual Monitor Video Card

PCI video cards aren't fast enough for windows aero effects. Disabling Aero effects should alleviate the issue. Other solutions would be to get and pci-e video card if another slot is available or get a quad head pci-e video card.
Yeah I tried disabling the windows aero and it seemed to get worse.

Hi,

Look at an Eyefinity 5 card enabling you to support up to 5 displays - you'll also need DisplayPort to VGA/DVI or HDMI as appropriate and these need to be AMD certified.

AMD 5770 and AMD 6770 variants are available.

An alternative would be a Nvidia Quadro NVS 425 or similar - these are designed for multi-display setups.

I ended up going with ATI 100-505588 FireMV 2450 and seemed to work great. Thanks for your help.
