The hyperlinks on a an aspx page that I built that has and image and an image map. &nbsp;The area tags within the map tag have the hyperlinks.<br />

Zip files tied to hyperlinks open the save as dialog whereas office documents do not.

well, the case now looks more related to client settings. I would check browser configuration. for IE it is in Internet Options/Programs/Internet Programs/File association...<br />
probably if you remove mapping of Word office application here, your documents will display Save As dialog as well. Not sure but you can try.

I sometimes find that a document that is referenced in a hyperlink launches the save/saveas dialog and other times it opens the document in the associated document editor (excel, word...).<br />
