Exchange 2010 Certificate issue
I created a new UCC certificate with an additional SAN. I re-keyed the thing and everything seemed fine. when i import the new certificate or 'complete the request' it doesn't show up under EMC at all. Even tho it said it was successful. Any ideas?
I dont think you can view the certificate in Exchange Management Console. You will need to use get-exchangecertificate from the Exchange server where you imported the certificate.
What exact steps did you follow?
If you did things right, you should see the cert under Exchange Management Console> Server Config.
If you are trying to use a self-issued cert, you would be better off buying one from somewhere like GoDaddy as they work properly first time and only cost $80 / year for a 5 domain name certificate.

Answer: The certificate CSR was not being generated properly. I re-re-recreated the CSR for like the 4th time and voila! It actually worked. I also had to remove the other certificates because it was giving an error saying a certificate with the same thumbprint already existed. All is good now. thanks everyone.
Thanks :)
