Hi. We currently use a 2003 server as a PDC in my office, we are a branch on the company network and this PDC provides IP addresses through DHCP to my local office. we use a mitel 3300 controller that provides the DHCP to the phones in the office, the PDC looks after the other equipment. the mitel controller and the switch are connected to each other. we recently have virtualized the office and I need to turn the old PDC off and use the mitel controller for DHCP for everything . Can anyone send me some information on this process?

NOT a good idea - the DHCP on Windows integrates with the other sevices and can provide additional things that an external DHCP cannot - for a start it will give the IPs of the Windows servers as the ONLY DNS servers - and that is exactly what you want, if you start referencing other DNS servers then you will encounter lots of problems.
