Which ddwrt versionon linksys e3000/4200?

I played around with ddwrt for a while now but always seem to end um with a build that is not stable (doesn t come up after reboot) or has features not working (f e port forwarding).

I just need a stable build which of which all available features are working correctly.
please advise which build to take.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you want to turn your WiFi enabled Vista machine to an AP, you should employ a technology called "Virtual WiFi".  This is a Microsoft project.

Have a look here - http://www.vistaheads.com/forums/microsoft-public-de-windows-vista-registry/341826-microsoft-research-virtual-wifi.html

Please, disregard the above - this is a solution to a different question.

Regarding your question, I would suggest to use the official DD_WRT for these router.
Please use the DD_WRT router Database -- http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database.
Type your model and use the version it provides.  This would be the most appropriate firmware.
