use http requests to connect to the web service to get the data (maybe in json or xml form). I don't know a gridview-widget out of the box but you should be able to do this by using the tablelayout in your form and storing the data inside of the rows/columns/cells of this tablelayout.

You have to use the webservices to connect to your VB service and receive data.

There is not gridview view in android. You may have to use a TableLayout to display the data in the form of a GridView. You can programatically create a TableLayout and using for loops create TableRow objects, add them to TableLayout and finally use the setContentView method to bind your TableLayout to your activity.
