EXCEL 2007. - FORM CONTROL BUTTON. Position cursor on activation.

When activating a Form Control Button I want to move the cursor postion to a postion relative to the cell which is occupied by the button. e.g. (When I press the button I want to move the cursor 6 places to the right).

Try something like

cells(commandbutton1.topleftcell.row,commandbutton1.topleftcell.column-6).select

Thanks for prompt response.
It hasn't worked. However this more likely to be my single cell brain not funtioning. Attached what I have. There will be over one thousand such buttons on this large spreadsheet, all doing the same thing i.e. move six the right. ssaqibh.xlsm
