Lotus Domino 8.5.3 - Upgrading Users To Roaming - Never Appears To Finish

I have attempted to change a user from non-roaming to roaming. When viewing in Domino Admin, it states the user's roaming status is "In Progress". This has been going on for about 3 hours now, and never updates the roaming status from "In Progress" to "Yes".

I have already loaded the user's Notes client and accepted the Convert to Roaming message. It appears to finish in the Notes client. I then close the client and answer "Yes" to update server and the client closes fine.

Going back to Admin, still shows "In Progress".

I should state, when I looked up how to do this online, it didn't state I needed to do anything on the client end first, so I didn't perform anything on the client side before attempting this. If I needed to change anything on the client side first, please let me know...

Also, all other users I have created as roaming have been done so when I first created the user from scratch, so I haven't had to upgrade anyone before - this is new to me...

Also ensure that the user has rights to create databases on the server storing the roaming files.

The user does have rights, as the folder and databases under the Roaming folder were created. Thanks.

Thanks for the info on adminp. When I came in this morning, the user was finally completely converted. I'm converting other users, so I'll try the adminp commands in the future to hopefully speed things up!
