I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In the configurations I've done, I've put it on the BVI interface.

interface BVI 1
ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0

The radio and Ethernet interfaces are members of bridge-group 1.

jordannet: That link is about LWAPP ap:s and has nothing to do with the current question.

samee87: You need a Cisco console-cable (light-blue). Connect it to the console port of the AP, and the other end to a computer with a serial-port. Use a terminal emulation software and configure it for that specific serial port and 9600 bps. Connect and you will get into the console.
