what is the best way to setup a shared calendar for a group. Exchange 2010 sp1 in a corporate enviroment?

Only Public Folders...otherwise you'll need Sharepoint.

You can also create a mailbox and grant permissions to everyone in question for the calendar.  They each user will have to open the Calendar within Outlook.

Can you open another calendar using OWA?

You can use Shared room mailbox. Make some one owner of the mailbox and he should be able to manage it.
