Backup of Windows server 2008 and its System state

Hi,

I do take backup of my active directory server in windows server 2008 using the windows server backup wizard.
This backup is taken on the external hard drive, Can I change the path for the backup to be taken I mean instead of giving only the drive name can I give the path to a folder on the drive because all the backups are taken in the same folder every week.

How can i differentiate the set of backup based on the date wise.

--Thanks

you can do that but on partition you need to specialize a partition for this process

if you want to do a single backup you can, but if you want to automate/schedule one you'll have to assign a disk or partition to it, windows backup is really limited.
