I was having some problems with an 1801 cisco router. I replaced it with an 1841 router. I configured it the same. I have internet access now but when I look at the interfaces, I see &quot;Unknown Protocols Drops&quot; increasing on my Fa0/1 interface along with some interface resets. I attached the old and new configs as well as a screenshot of the show interface. Is my config off somewhere? The ios on the old router was ADVIPSERVICESK9-M. The new one has ADVSECURITYK9-M

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet. The most familiar type of routers are home and small office cable or DSL routers that simply pass data, such as web pages, email, IM, and videos between computers and the Internet. More sophisticated routers, such as enterprise routers, connect large business or ISP networks up to the powerful core routers that forward data at high speed along the optical fiber lines of the Internet backbone.
