Whats the best /easiest way to make a cloned copy of a CD or DVD?

I've no specific software to do such.

I use and recommend MagicDisc - free, creates virtual CD-ROM / DVD-ROM drives and can create images in multiple formats FROM an existing CD/DVD.

Similar to what others above me posted,

Most CD buring softwares have the ability to create and burn ISO files.  If you have this type of software already, just drop in the source CD and create your ISO (image) file.  Then, burn this ISO to a new disc.

i use cdburnerxp for that - it has all you need :
I would second CloneCD.  I've been using it for years and it is the most reliable.
